We still believe that although Turkey has undergone a large number of developments both with regards to the structure and regulation of the water sector as a whole, pollution and water scarcity will continue to be a problem. We foresee this latter issue becoming increasingly tense as Turkey's persistent dam construction along its borders cause aggravation with its Middle Eastern neighbours who share the waters of the Euphrates and Tigris.
